❖ Announcement ❖
Kathryn Winter, Our Executive Director, Retires
7-15-10
For the last 6 and a half years Kathryn has directed the growth, effectiveness, and success of Fair Housing Napa Valley. From the original staff of 2 to our present size of 6; from almost no funding to arranging donations and grants; from little notice to many press articles; to winning various lawsuits on behalf of the disenfranchised, she has prevailed and flourished against overwhelming odds.
At a celebration of Kathryn on July 14th, 2010, representatives of The United States Government, The Government of the State of California, The County and City of Napa, our own Board of Directors, our own Staff, and many friends gathered to pay homage to this special person. Plaques, certificates, and warm speeches were offered in thanks for all her fine efforts and long hours given to the cause of fair housing in Napa.
Whatever Kathryn chooses to do next, we all wish her everything wonderful.
